Identity Verification Prior to Transactions

Pursuant to the Anti-Money Laundering Act B.E. 2554 (2011) and the Ministerial Regulations issued by the Office of the Anti-Money Laundering Commission (AMLO), financial institutions and business operators under Section 16 are required to conduct customer identification in the following cases: The provision of electronic money services or electronic fund transfer services for each transaction with a value of 50,000 baht or above requires customers to complete identity verification prior to conducting the transaction. Accordingly, Central Payment Company Limited kindly requests the cooperation of all customers wishing to purchase the MAGIC GIFT CARD to comply with applicable laws by providing valid identification documents to the company at the time of the transaction.

Required Documents for Purchase

For purchase orders with a total amount of 50,000 baht or above

Individual Customers

Thai Nationals
Thai National ID Card of the purchaser

Foreign Nationals
Passport together with two (2) additional forms of identification issued by the Thai government, such as:

  • Passport + VISA + Thai Driver’s License
  • Passport + VISA + Work Permit
  • Passport + VISA + Alien Certificate

Note:

  1. The Visa must be affixed to the Passport booklet.

  2. The Passport and the two (2) additional identification documents must be valid, complete, and not expired. The facial images shown on all identification documents must match the customer.

  3. Customer information on all identification documents must be identical, including but not limited to full name, date of birth, and other personal details.

Corporate Customer

  1. Company Affidavit (issued within the last six (6) months)
  2. Company Power of Attorney Letter
  3. Copy of the Thai National ID Card of the Authorized Signatory
  4. Copy of the Thai National ID Card of the Authorized Representative
